At a mere 70 years young George Brunstad of Ridgefield, Conn. became the oldest man to swim the English Channel on Saturday night. The retired pilot finished the 21 mile swim between Dover, England and Sangatte, France in just under 16 hours. George's swim has helped to raise more than $11,000 to build an orphanage, medical center and schools for children in the Haitian city of Hinche. Incidentally the swimming senior is the uncle of Bourne Supremacy star Matt Damon.
