Dump Truck Spill Closes I-91 South


The Hartford Courant Reports. A dump truck driving north on I-91 rolled over near Exit 35a, spilling contaminated soil into the southbound lanes, state police said.

The driver suffered minor injuries, state police said. All lanes on the southbound side near Exit 35a are closed. The right lane on the northbound side is open, state police said.

The accident was reported at 1:36 p.m. The state Department of Environmental Protection heading to the scene, state police said.
