A Baby T-Rex is Going Shopping
The Children's Museum brings Walking With Dinosaurs to Westfarms Mall
The Children's Museum has partnered with Walking With Dinosaurs – The Live Experience and the Arena at Harbor Yard to bring a the very realistic Baby Tyrannosaurus Rex, one of the stars of Walking With Dinosaurs, to Westfarms Mall on Tuesday, July 22 at 1:00 p.m. in the Mall's Center Court.
The Children's Museum's "Mr. Science" will be on hand to introduce Baby T- Rex and discuss the amazing lost world of these "terrible-lizards." In addition, Cameron Wenn, Resident Director of Walking With Dinosaurs will answer questions and explain some of the unique animatronics and puppetry used in the show.
Baby T-Rex is not only promoting eight performances of Walking With Dinosaurs at Arena at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport from July 23 – 27 but The Children's Museum's very own Dinosaur Days on July 23rd from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors to The Children's Museum will have a chance to dig deep into the mysteries of dinosaurs, make a 3-D dinosaur, play games and touch real fossils. Families will also be able to visit a homemade dinosaur nest, hatch dinosaur eggs and at Earth's Wild Ride, the newest planetarium show, take a roller-coaster-like-ride through canyons of raging rivers and hot flowing lava, to an ice age winter and back in time when dinosaurs roamed the Earth. Earth's Wild Ride was made possible thanks to Hamilton Sundstrand.
