Silk City Music Festival @ MCC

SILK CITY MUSIC FESTIVAL -FREE EVENT Saturday Oct 10 noon to 6 pm at Manchester Community College   The Silk City Flick Fest is teaming up with Spotlight on Connecticut and www.EntertainmentCT.com to present the Silk City Music Fest. Part of the four day Flick Fest, the Music Fest is a free event that will feature some of Connecticut's best original musicians.    On Saturday, October 10, from noon to 6 pm,  local performers will fill the Manchester Community College at the Bandshell with music and Entertainment. A great way to bring Connecticut musicians together, the Silk City Music Fest will provide a platform for musicians to showcase their talent in front of an audience filled with filmmakers scouting out music for future films.   Many of the musicians to be featured are winners of the Local Music Spotlight Contest sponsored by www.CTLIVEMusic.com. The Local Music Spotlight Contest highlights three Connecticut musicians each month and allows site visitors to listen to and vote for their favorites.   As part of the www.EntertainmentCT.com family,  www.CTLIVEMusic.com has been working with local musicians for the past five years to increase the exposure of the large amount of great original music right here in Connecticut. CTLIVEMusic.com will also provide musical entertainment for the Silk City Flick Fest throughout the four-day weekend at Center Park and other locations.
