2. See Ends of the Earth: From Polar Bears to Penguins before it melts away! OPEN until APRIL 25.
Explore this featured exhibit while you can. Massive landscapes, depicting the austere beauty of these frozen and extremely fragile expanses, provide striking backdrops for the more than thirty exhibits - each combining interactive artifacts and hands-on learning activities for all ages. Waddle and slide like a penguin, meet a polar bear face-to-face and more!

5. Take a GREEN walking tour: April 19-26
Explore and discover all of the environmental components that helped the Connecticut Science Center earn a GOLD LEED certification for our facilities with a self-guided building-wide walking tour during GREEN Week

6. Tour a hydrogen fuel cell bus: April 21
On April 21 from 1:30 - 3:30 PM, you can learn all about the clean energy-driven locally-engineered CT Transit Hydrogen Fuel Cell Bus with, which will be located outside the Science Center on Columbus Boulevard. Also, learn how a hydrogen fuel cell powers the Science Center in the Energy City exhibit and see the real thing outside on Grove Street.

7. Get Fit by Clowning Around: April 24, 11:30 AM & 1:00 PM
Join Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey clowns as they use recycled items to help you get fit with Circusfit Gone Green.

Take advantage of the opportunity to be on LIVE television as you watch WFSB Meteorologist Mark Dixon's weather forecast LIVE from the Science Center. Plus create your own weather forecast and send it to your friends online. Visit the weather exhibit in the Planet Earth Gallery on the 6th floor of the Science Center.

9. Operate and Challenge a Robot.
Visit our FIRST Robotics exhibit and test your skills against a real robot. Learn about the exciting national competition and see one of the 2008 winning robots, from Hartford.
