NBC 30 Connecticut News reports that a group of people found a "body part" believed to be the lower leg of a human at the Shuttle Meadow Golf Course in New Britain, Conn. on Friday afternoon. The appendage was identified as part of a leg by a doctor who was on the course at the time, and it's believed that an animal carried the leg to the location where it was discovered. The bone was confirmed as human by the medical examiner this afternoon. New Britain police are continuing their investigation.
