Turkeys in East Granby, CT

I wish I had known about this sooner. The Town of East Granby celebrated it's 150th anniversary earlier this year, and part of the celebrations included 17 painted fiberglass turkeys throughout the town. Why Turkeys I hear you ask? East Granby was once known as Turkey Hills. Earlier today, I just happened to spot these, actually I couldn't miss them. How do you miss a 5 foot tall turkey? I took a couple of blurry cell phone photos. Love cell phone photos - they always look so good on the tiny little screen.
