Get Well Soon, Governor M. Jodi Rell

Gov. M. Jodi Rell, said she was tired but feeling well as she left Danbury Hospital three days after breast cancer surgery. "I feel great,'' said Rell, 58, who underwent a mastectomy and reconstructive surgery on Monday. Test results received just before the governor left Danbury Hospital showed no cancer, the governor's office told Associated Press. The governor's cancer was discovered last week. The disease was caught at the earliest stage, and her lymph nodes tested negative for cancer, her staff said. We wish her all the best.

Governor Rell has also requested a State-wide moment of silence to be observed tomorrow at noon to honor the 13 men and women with Connecticut ties who were killed in Iraq and Afghanistan in 2004.
