Governor Rell's Statement

An elated Governor Rell shed tears of joy yesterday as the BRAC Commission announced their vote to save Groton’s Navy Submarine base. She issued a statement thanking Team Connecticut, and saying “We did it! We did it! As Team Connecticut, our fight is not over though. More work needs to be done. But we should take great pride in this historic moment, this historic victory.”
