Connecticut Open House Day - Saturday June 10th 2006

CT Open House Day 2006

Discover -- or rediscover -- tourism attractions, things to do in Connecticut and tons of cultural organizations throughout the nutmeg state with free or much-reduced admission and other special incentives just for Connecticut residents.

Go behind the scenes of a bison farm in Brooklyn with a walk through fields and down a dirt road to see the bison and their handling facilities.   Discover how maple syrup is made in Burlington, hop on the wine trail with some free wine tasting in Colchester, kids ride the Essex Steam Train for free, be at the Quintessential Gardens at Fort Hill Farms for a unique butterfly release at 10 am, visit the art galleries, museums, historic properties and tourist attractions.

These are just a few of the many, many wonderful things to see and do in Connecticut on Open House Day
