Free To Good Home

We've all seen those signs by the side of the road "Free Stuff". From dirt (seen in Bristol), to old TVs and furniture everyone has something they no longer need. Instead of just throwing those unwanted items away, people are now jumping on the Freecycle bandwaggon. With 22 active Freecycling groups (see below for websites) Connecticut has over 7000 people freecycling their unwanteds on a daily basis. Members of the email groups, email or post messages offering anything from animals, clothes for babies, cameras, office equipment, sewing machines and more, and all absolutely free. Proving one person's trash, is another person's treasure. So, how much does it cost to join these bargain networks? That's absolutely free too.

Connecticut has Freecycle Groups in:
Bristol, Central CT, Danbury, East Haddam, Enfield, Glastonbury, Groton, Hebron, Litchfield, Manchester, Meriden, Naugatuck, New Haven, New London, Norwich, Shelton, Stamford, Storrs, Vernon, Waterbury, Westport, Woodstock.
